Platinum Stars’ football manager, Senzo Mazingiza, says that the underdogs tag could work in their favour when they take on Orlando Pirates in the MTN8 final.
Dikwena have been in fine form in the competition until now, scoring nine goals in three games as they dispatched both Free State Stars and Wits on the way to the final.

They will face Pirates at Moses Mabhida Stadium tomorrow night as they look to secure only the second major trophy in their history and the first since 2006.
Speaking to the Siya crew, Mazingiza, who recently left the Buccaneers to join Stars, said, “I think coming in as the underdog works in our favour, even though we don’t see ourselves as underdogs. So far we’ve done what we’ve needed to do and now it’s the big game for us.
“We understand that we’re playing against a good side, against a club that’s used to winning trophies and we need to give them all the respect they deserve.”
The two sides will lock horns at 20h15 tomorrow night as they both look to crown themselves as the 2013 MTN8 champions.
