There could be more bad news for Orlando Pirates today (Thursday) as they await the results of scans on their duo of Thabo Matlaba and Oupa Manyisa.
It is thought that Matlaba may require surgery on his knee after injuring ligaments during the 2-2 draw with Ajax Cape Town on Wednesday, and is likely to miss the rest of the season as a result.
Meanwhile, Manyisa has suffered a groin strain and could also miss a couple of games depending on the seriousness of the injury.
Both players will go for MRI scans today to assess the extent of their respective injuries, before the club will be able to judge how long the players will be sidelined for.
Roger de Sa has suffered rotten luck during his tenure as coach of the Buccaneers, and it looks as though that bad luck is set to continue.
