AmaZulu have confirmed that eight players from their existing squad have been placed on the transfer list. AmaZulu coach Craig Rosslee is looking to reshuffle his team ahead of the new season, and ultimately challenge for honours.
Mbongeni Mzimela, Phumlani Mhamha, Luyanda Hlongwa, Stanley Kgatla and Nyiko Tshabangu have all been placed on the transfer list. AmaZulu’s general manager Peter O’Connor confirmed on the club’s official website that Andile Khumalo, Nkanyiso Cele and Dumisani Zwane will be sent on loan.
“We had a serious chat with the directors and with the technical team, and clearly we’ve had to take some radical changes to plan ahead. It’s one of those unfortunate things for some of the players but we believe these changes are necessary and we’d like to wish the players well,” O’Connor told AmaZulu’s official website.
Usuthu have confirmed that the club will not renew the contracts of Tsweu Mokoro, Ramson Zhuwawo, Kagiso Senamela, Joseph Malongoane and Bongani Mbele, while Sifiso Vilakazi and Makhosonke Bhengu’s deals have been terminated with immediate effect.
As recently revealed by the Siya crew, Zimbabwean midfielder Bret Amidu has been signed by the club, with Bongi Macala, who has been training with the side, having penned a two-year-deal.
In addition, Namibian striker Sydney Urikhob has been added to the list of players set to join Rosslee’s team for pre-season on July 24.
