University of Pretoria can breathe a sigh of relief with news that Geoffrey Massa has resumed training following his injury that kept him out of last weekend’s Tshwane derby loss to Mamelodi Sundowns.
Massa has made a massive splash in his first few matches of the 2013/14 Absa Premiership campaign for AmaTuks by putting in some inspiring performances.
The Ugandan international striker announced himself as a Tuks player when he scored an absolute belter on his debut.
AmaTuks head coach, Steve Barker, expressed his delight to the Siya crew with regards to news that Massa has been training hard and would be available for selection in Tuks’ next match.
Barker told Soccer-Laduma, “Geoffrey is back in training after recovering from his injury. He isn’t fully fit yet, but he will be available for our next game. It will be a good boost for us to have him back.”
The rest of the attack force at Tuks haven’t been able to come to the party as often as Barker would’ve liked, but the coach says that his players haven’t had enough game-time together.
“Our strikers haven’t had many chances to play together, so all we can do is continue working on things and try to improve on it.”
