Ajax Cape Town have confirmed that they’ve parted ways with up to 12 of their first team players.
The Urban Warriors have been recently linked with buying the top-flight status of Bloemfontein Celtic, this after the Mother City-based club was unable to gain promotion during the 2018/18 season’s National First Division campaign.
However, while they assess their plans for the club in the new season, Ajax have already confirmed that they have parted ways with up to 12 players, with two players already set for moves elsewhere after penning pre-contracts in January.
Prince Nxumalo and Brandon Petersen will be making their way to Bidvest Wits after the club secured their signature on pre-contracts at the beginning of the year.
Harold Majadibodu saw his loan stint with Ajax come to an end and will be returning to Mamelodi Sundowns, where a decision about his immediate future is set to be made.
Here are the other nine players who have left the club:
Stephanie Guy Bedi
Morris, on the other hand, is one of the players linked with top-flight clubs in the past, namely, SuperSport United, Highlands Park and Bidvest Wits and it remains to be seen whether these sides will look to approach the player.
