The national team, Bafana Bafana, have been in camp together since the start of the year, and so far played in two international friendlies, against Norway and Algeria.
Coach Gordon Igesund tried different combinations, which saw his side lose 1-0 to the Europeans, while playing to a goalless draw against the North Africans.
Tomorrow Bafana open the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations against Cape Verde and left back Tsepo Masilela believes that the team is looking good. He told the Siya crew that they have come to understand each other and that they play well as a team.
"We are playing at home and that should be an advantage to us. After all, we will be having close to 80 000 home supporters encouraging us. We are looking good as a team and no matter who plays tomorrow, we will represent the country and win.
“The last time the tournament was hosted in the country we won it, why not now? We want to keep the trophy at home and the spirit is high in the camp," the Kaizer Chiefs defender said.
