Word reaching the Siya crew is that negotiations between defender, Tsepo Masilela, and Kaizer Chiefs over a new contract could be concluded this week.
As reported by the Siya crew in December, Chiefs have opened up contract talks with the defender whose current deal expires at the end of June.
Now Masilela’s agent, Mike Makaab, tells the crew that talks will be concluded soon.
“We’re just ironing out few details of the contract and I think the negotiations will be concluded by the end of this week,” said Makaab.
Masilela is just one of a number of Chiefs players that will shortly see their contracts at the club.
Josta Dladla, Siyabonga Nkosi, Keegan Ritchie and Knowledge Musona (loan) will all see their current deals expire in June.
Word is that the Amakhosi are looking to tie all these players to new contracts.
Ritchie however, as reported by the Siya crew, has attracted interest from Czech giants, Slavia Prague, who have submitted a written offer to Chiefs for his services.
