Kaizer Chiefs defender, Tsepo Masilela, looks set to face a couple more weeks on the sidelines after injuring his groin in the 2-0 win over Moroka Swallows.
The 28-year-old hasn’t featured in Chiefs’ last three games because of the injury, and could quite possibly miss their next three as well as he continues his recovery.
It was reported by the Siya crew earlier today that Chiefs are expected to leave a number of key players behind for this weekend’s game against Black Africa, with Masilela being one of them.
Masilela injured his abductor in a challenge during the 2-0 win over the Dube Birds late last month, and is currently in the process of getting back to full fitness, something that could take around two more weeks.
With their regular left back out of action, Baxter has switched Siboniso Gaxa onto the left over the last few games, with either Kgotso Moleko or Lorenzo Gordinho coming in to fill his space on the right.
As Chiefs travel to Africa this weekend, 19-year-old Simphiwe Mtsweni could be called up to make his full debut for the club against the Lively Lions.
