After the confirmation by Golden Arrows head coach Mandla Ncikazi that he wanted to sign Masibusane Zongo, the talented-but-wayward midfielder has returned to professional football with a new club.
Zongo was last seen while on the books of Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila in the second tier last season.
As part of the plans to improve their stuttering GladAfrica Championship campaign, Bizana Pondo Chiefs have signed Zongo to see if he can help the team to move away from the basement of the log.
Zongo, 30, previously also played for SuperSport United, Chippa United and Bidvest Wits among other clubs.
With newly appointed Pondo Chiefs coach, Julius Dube aiming to help the team move away from relegation zone, the skilful winger is expected to play a role in helping the club on this mission.
Pondo Chiefs general manager, Loyiso Jokweni, confirmed the signing of the Mthatha-born star.
