Mashego: We Worked Hard

Bafana Bafana striker Katlego Mashego believes that their hard work paid off in their 3-0 win over the Central African Republic (CAR) on Saturday in a 2014 World Cup qualifier.

Mashego came in as a second-half substitute to score the third goal in Bafana's win in Cameroon.

The game was played in Yaounde and after few hiccups ahead of the game, the Bafana the players put everthing behind them and performed superbly on the day.

Mashego attributes the win to the hard work that the players put in and said that after all the setbacks on the journey, they had to push to win the game.

"We worked hard. We knew the only way to keep us going was a win no matter what. We knew it won't be easy at all but with hard work and determination we could win it. It is about hard work and we have to continue from here going forward," the current PSL Top Goal Scorer concluded.
