The PSL held their annual awards ceremony on Sunday at the Lyric Theatre in Gold Reef City, Johannesburg, with Moroka Swallows striker, Katlego Mashego, getting himself amongst the winners.
Mashego was awarded with the Top Goal Scorer Award for the 2012/13 Absa Premiership season, after netting a total of 13 goals for the campaign.
The former Orlando Pirates striker believes that strikers in the PSL should be finding the back of the net more regularly. He told the Siya crew that he will work on his finishing and aim to score more goals next season.
“As strikers we need to improve on our scoring. We need to score more goals and I want to be the one to start that next season. Personally, I think I did well for myself but there is always room for improvement and I have to work hard on my finishing.
“As a team we could have done better and we will be doing that next season,” the striker explained.
