Moroka Swallows coach Zeca Marques says he will use the MTN8 week to have a closer look at the trialists who are currently training with the club.
Swallows, who failed to qualify for this competition, finishing ninth, are not playing this week because of the MTN8, so Marques says this is the perfect time for him to assess the trialists.
Midfielders Sheldon Lawrence, Luvuyo Memela and Joao Pedro Henriques Neto are currently training with Swallows in hope of earning themselves a contract with the Birds.

“It’s always difficult to assess players when there are official games in between because you need to focus on the games. With us not playing any games this week, it’s much easier to assess them,” Marques told the Siya crew.
Lawrence started training with Swallows at the beginning of the season. He was later joined by Neto and then Memela.
With Marques unable to confirm or deny whether he would be signing any of these players, it’s difficult to say who will make the cut.
The Siya crew will keep an eye on the happenings at Swallows and bring you updates as soon as they are available.
