News reaching the Siya crew is that former Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Calvin Marlin has started training at Mpumalanga Black Aces.
The 37-year-old goalkeeper is currently a free agent, having been released by Sundowns at the end of last season.
A source close to the Aces camp has since revealed that the veteran is training with Aces, having joined the team today.
“Yes’ it’s true that Marlin is training with us. It’s his first day at training, so there’s nothing much to tell,” explained the source.
Marlin joins the likes of Bongani Mbele, Sandile Gumede and Joseph Makhanya, who are all trying to impress Aces coach, Clive Barker, at training.
