Speaking to Bafana Bafana legend, Williams, the 51-year-old thinks that there is currently no South African striker who has proven their capabilities and should Chiefs look to sign a goalscorer they should be looking at Didier Drogba, Messi and Ronaldo.
“A top team like Kaizer Chiefs – soccer is all about scoring goals, people shouldn’t talk about good football. They will say they played good football, but they didn’t put the ball in the net. They will say they had plenty of opportunities, but they didn’t score,” Williams told the Siya crew.

“So, they need strikers, if they cant get strikers – call me to their camp and tell me, Mr Williams come coach our strikers to be in the kitchen.
“Chiefs need to look at maybe another central defender and strikers if they want to compete. I think they should try to get Drogba if they can try to get Ronaldo or Messi – don’t laugh, that is what they need because there is nothing in South Africa. I am being honest.
“If there is a striker that wants to prove me wrong, it will be a pleasure to see if he can score week in and week out,” he added.
