Mark Williams wants Kaizer Chiefs coach, Steve Komphela, to have an open discussion with his players in order to turn around their losing streak that has seen them suffer three defeats in a row.
The former Amakhosi striker believes that, in this difficult run of form, Komphela needs to discuss the issues facing the team with his players.
“This is unlike Chiefs. It's very unfortunate that they are going through this period. What Steve should do is talk to the players and hear from them what the problem is, " Williams told the Siya crew.
The 49-year-old further added that only an honest discussion will uncover the cause of the squad’s poor performance, and if this can be done, the Glamour Boys may yet turn things around.
“The players should also be honest with the Coach and each other to come to the bottom of this. Once they do that things will turn for the good,” the 1996 Afcon hero observed.
Williams made 17 league appearances for Chiefs in his single season at the club and scored eight goals.
