Bloemfontein Celtic striker Lerato Manzini says he cannot wait to get back into action following his full recovery from injury.
Siwelele’s top goal scorer from last season, with eight league goals, suffered a foot injury just before the beginning of the season and it was feared that he would be out for a lengthy period.
However, he has recovered faster than anticipated and has been training with the rest of the team.
Clinton Larsen has been using the likes of Lerato Lamola and Letsie Koapeng upfront, in the absence of the Welkom-born player, who is expected to be given a start in their next game against Mpumalanga Black Aces on Wednesday.
Manzini told the Siya crew, “I started training with the guys before the game against Kaizer Chiefs. First of all, I would like to thank God for my recovery because this injury has been disturbing me for a while, but I managed to get used to it. I’m happy to be back and I’m ready to bang in the goals again.”
