Orlando Pirates midfielder, Oupa Manyisa, tells the Siya crew that his Bucs teammates are both nervous and excited about travelling to Dolisie and conquering their group in the 2013 CAF Champions League.
Bucs have been highly successful on their quest to winning a second star on their jersey, with some inspired performances throughout the competition so far.
At the heart of the Bucs midfield has been the hard-working Oupa Manyisa, who’s been instrumental and highly influential in all of the team’s matches in the 2013/14 PSL campaign, this far.
However, Manyisa will have to face AC Leopards without his midfield compatriot, Andile Jali, who will miss the clash due to suspension. Along with Jali, also suspended are defenders Thabo Matlaba and Happy Jele, which may cause headaches for head coach Roger de Sa and his technical team.
As if the suspensions weren’t enough of a concern, De Sa also has an injury to midfielder Lehlogonolo Masalesa to be concerned about. Masalesa will travel to Congo with the team, although will face a late fitness test ahead of the match to determine whether he would be able to feature for Bucs.
Manyisa tells Soccer-Laduma that the Bucs team are nervous, but also excited about their upcoming clash against AC Leopards.
Manyisa said, “The boys have been working hard in training to prepare for the match. We are nervous and excited about this one. We have what it takes to do the job, but it will be very tough.”
Collins Mbesuma and Thandani Ntshumayelo will also miss the trip to Dolisie with both players still on the road to recovery from their injuries.
