Lebogang Manyama has played his last game for Ajax Cape Town, and will be joining SuperSport United in January.
Manyama was recently linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs, and although the clubs had agreed terms, the deal fell through when the player and Chiefs couldn’t agree on personal terms.
Manyama has been a regular in the Ajax team for the past few seasons, and also earned a string of call-ups to the Bafana set-up in the past year.
Cavin Johnson will be pleased to add him to his arsenal at SuperSport, but Muhsin Ertugral must be a concerned man, as Manyama has been a major figure in the Ajax team this season.
Confirming the deal, SuperSport United tweeted earlier this evening, “Matsatsantsa we are pleased to announce the signing of Lebogang Manyama.”
Ari Efstathiou told the Ajax Cape Town website, "Ajax Cape Town and SuperSport United have agreed terms on the transfer and Manyama has accepted personal terms offered by United. He will join SuperSport from January 2014.
"Ajax Cape Town has paved the way for Lebo to have a very successful future and would like to thank him for his contribution to Ajax Cape Town during his three and half years with the club."
