Masango: I Kept On Working Hard
Kaizer Chiefs winger, Mandla Masango, was full of praise for his teammates and the technical team, after he picked up the Man of the Match award on Wednesday night.
Masango scored the first goal as Chiefs defeated Mpumalanga Black Aces 2-1 at the Mbombela Stadium, this was the winger's third goal of the season, having bagged a brace against Aces in the MTN8.
And the 25-year-old believes he is now reaping the benefits of all his hard work.
"I'd like to thank God for the blessings, and I'd like to thank my family for the support, and the Amakhosi supporters and the technical staff, thanks for the undying support," said the Man of the Match.
"It's all because of my teammates and the technical team, they believed in my ability, so I kept on working hard, even when things weren't in my favour but I kept going and now slowly but surely I'm reaping the awards, there a lot of room for improvement.
"The coach kept telling me to work hard, to make sure whenever the opportunity comes, I grab it, so that's what I'm on the verge of doing at the moment, I'm taking each game at a time."
