Royal AM President Shauwn Mkhize revealed that the team has not been training for the promotion play-offs as they are 'champions'.
The play-offs were supposed to get underway on Tuesday afternoon with Royal taking on fellow GladAfrica Championship out Richards Bay.
However, Mkhize and her team managed to halt the play-offs on Monday evening after submitting an urgent application appealing the decision to award Sekhukhune United the league title.
Mkhize says this is something she is used to and feels Royal AM fairly won the GladAfrica Championship title
"'It a difficult situation, I won't lie but I'm used to this, everything about me always have drama, I always gets things hard way, I always fight for things and it not easy, I'm used to this," Mkhize told the media at a gala dinner organized by eThekwini municipality
"If you look at this, it never happened before that a team that won fairly and finish on top of the log doesn't get a cup, but it no longer Suprise me, I'm used to not getting things easily, I'm immune to this.
When asked about the play-offs, she added, "Players haven't trained because they are champions, we can't be in play-offs when we finish in the top of the log, mentally we were not prepared for play-offs, so we can't be discussing play-offs."
