Mamelodi Sundowns will be taking a break from football with the rest of the Premier Soccer League, despite the CAF Champions League campaign still underway.
The Brazilians ended off the 2017/18 domestic campaign by lifting the Absa Premiership trophy, the first piece of domestic silverware in two seasons.
As Head Coach Pitso Mosimane previously revealed to the media, the Masandawana mentor is considering taking a one-year sabbatical from football, however, while the 53-year-old contemplates that decision, his team will soon have to return back to club duty.
According to sources in the know, Sundowns will get their pre-season underway on June 24th, as they look to gear up and return to their fight in CAF Champions League competitions.
Sundowns will play these following fixtures before the start of the 2018/19 domestic campaign:
AS Togo Port – July 17 (away)
Kaizer Chiefs (Shell Helix Cup) – July 21
AS Togo Port – July 27 (home)
Wydad Casablanca – August 17 (away)
