Mamelodi Sundowns are said to be planning on offloading Thela Ngobeni at the end of the current Absa Premiership season.
The former Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper has struggled for game-time at Sundowns since joining the club as a free agent in 2013.
Initially, Ngobeni was signed on a short-term deal for the second half of the 2012/13 season following a goalkeeper crisis at the club at that time.
The player’s contract was renewed at the end of the 2012/13 campaign and the shot-stopper has been with the team since, although he has struggled to break into the first team.
Denis Onyango has been the first choice goalkeeper for Downs this season, with Kennedy Mweene and Wayne Sandilands deputising for him.
The former U20 and U23 international has been out of contention for the number one jersey at Masandawana, with his contribution to the club only coming through the MultiChoice Diski Challenge in recent times.
What advice would you offer the player regarding his next potential move? Which team should he join?
