Soccer Laduma understands that the Mamelodi Sundowns players that are not on international duty will keep themselves sharp by playing some friendly matches during the FIFA break.
The Brazilians face almost two weeks without official games in the PSL and to ensure that the players do not see their fitness and momentum affected, Sundowns have arranged some friendly games to keep themselves busy.
A Soccer Laduma source at the club told the Siya crew that the technical team has organised games with National First Division teams which will be played like practice matches.
"Most of the players are around and the technical team wants them to continue with their match fitness and that's why the players who are not on national duties for their country will be involved in friendly games,” said the source.
“I really don't know which NFD teams will play against the team but there are games the team will play in.”
Sundowns seemed to be on the road to recovery after a slow start to the season, having put together consecutive wins before the international break started.
