Mamelodi Sundowns have strengthened their goalkeeping department with the addition of Zama Dlamini. The 22-year-old impressed the Sundowns’ technical team in his trial with the Chloorkop outfit last month.
The shot-stopper played for Thanda Roya Zulu in the NFD before his trial with Sundowns. Dlamini confirmed on his official Facebook account that he signed with the Absa Premiership champions.
“Yes I’m a Mamelodi Sundowns Football Player *soccer* !!! ...God is Great, believe me when I say that!!!!," said Dlamini.
Dlamini was with Sundowns’ players in the stands at Loftus Stadium when Pitso Mosimane and his team beat SuperSport United and clinched the league title on Tuesday night.
He joins Kennedy Mweene, Wayne Sandilands, Thela Ngobeni and Glenn Verbauwhede in the goalkeeping department at Sundowns.
The Brazilians are also expected to have Denis Onyango back with the team after the expiry of his loan deal at Wits.
