Mamelodi Sundowns have finally confirmed the signing of their Guinea-Bissau winger, despite the player revealing that he put pen to paper last month.
The Brazilians have so far completed the signing of three new players ahead of the transfer window, adding Andile Jali, Jose Ali Meza and Toni Silva to their books for the new season.
Silva seemed to have been Sundowns' first acquisition ahead of the new campaign, with the player confirming he put pen to paper on a contract with the club in May, however, Sundowns have only made their official announcement of the 24-year-old today, June 28.
Sundowns announced the signing of Meza yesterday, indicating that they are about to reshuffle their foreign quota spots as they are way over the limit, with eight foreigners currently on their books.
As previously reported, Jeremy Brockie is in contention for South African citizenship, although nothing has been confirmed as yet.
As things stand, Yannick Zakri and Fares Hachi are set for a move away from the club, while registered players, Brimah Razak and Soumahoro Bangaly are believed to be the foreigners that could be making way for either Meza or Silva.
