Sundowns Are Still Training
Despite playing so many games this season including the Telkom Knockout, the Nedbank Cup and eventually winning the Absa Premiership title, Mamelodi Sundowns are far from resting as they are still training.
The Chloorkop-based side trained last week, and are still training this week as they are also preparing for a friendly game in Windhoek, Namibia on Sunday. The Brazilians have been invited to partake in the Dr. Hage Geingob Cup set to be staged on Africa Day (May 25).
Coach Pitso Mosimane told the Siya crew that they trained twice last week, and will again train this week.
"Yes we are still training. We will have a long season coming and we need to keep the players fit throughout and above all, we are travelling to Namibia for an international friendly game. We trained twice last week and we are training again this week," Mosimane concluded.
