Niang Starts Training In Norway

Former Mamelodi Sundowns striker, Mame Niang, has started training with Norwegian side, Kongsvinger, as he contemplates his next move.
The 32-year-old is currently a free agent after leaving Masandawana at the end of last season, and while there has been interest in him from overseas, he is thought to be eager to try and remain in South Africa if possible.
However, in the meantime, the ex-SuperSport United man is currently keeping himself in shape with his former club as he weighs up an offer from the Norwegian second division outfit, following his Sundowns exit.
Niang played for Kongsvinger in 2010 while they were still in the top-flight, and it appears that he managed to leave a lasting impression during his time there, hence their decision to try and bring him back.
The Siya crew will continue to monitor Niang’s situation in the coming weeks to see what decision he takes.
