The future of SuperSport United’s attacking midfielder, Jabu Maluleke, remains uncertain after his current club offered him a new deal.
Maluleke had looked set to leave Matsatsantsa at the end of the month for Moroka Swallows after impressing on trial with the Dube Birds, although SuperSport’s decision to offer him a new contract may change his mind.
However, a Siya crew source has revealed that his current club have only put a one-year deal on the table, while Swallows are prepared to offer him a two-year contract at Dobsonville should he decide to make the move there.
Maluleke struggled to play a major role for SuperSport in their last campaign, failing to break into their first team over the course of the season, and may be tempted by the prospect of regular game time under Zeca Marques.
Meanwhile, SuperSport look set to do their preseason camps in Botswana and Cape Town before taking part in the Mopani and Gauteng tournaments ahead of the start of their next campaign.
