Maluleke Credits Teammates For Win Over Downs

Polokwane City captain Jabulani Maluleke applauded his teammates for their come from behind win over the Premiership leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.

Goals from Sammy Seabi, Walter Musona and Rodney Ramagalela saw Rise and Shine claim their first home win of the season.
“I think it was a tough game to play, especially playing against the champions. So we had to contain them because we know they play through the spaces. So well done to the boys for the hard work they put in,” Maluleke told SuperSport after game.
The Rise and Shine went into the break a goal down through former Kaizer Chiefs winger George Lebese, but came back strong in the second half to seal all the points.
Maluleke also paid tribute to coach Bernard Molekwa for urging them on to redeem themselves during the break at a hot trenching Peter Mokaba Stadium.
What’s more fascinating is that Bernard Molekwa’s charges have done the season’s double over the more fancied Brazilians.
“We conceded the goal too early so the coach encouraged us at the break to come back into the second half open-minded, but it was great goals, we scored, thank you,” Maluleke said.
