The midfielder was on target as Chiefs claimed a 2-0 win over Bloemfontein Celtic on Wednesday evening.
"At this stage of this stage of the season, that's what it's all about, it's just the mental fitness and that what's we are doing now," Maluleka said after the game.
"Mentally strong to go all the way and were just taking one game at the time."
Maluleka also expressed his delight at securing three points against a tough Celtic side.
"I want to thank the technical team and my teammates. The boys did very well tonight, but we had to grind because it wasn't easy to play on this field," he added.
"We knew it was going to be dirty and that's what we did, we got the three points and that's what is important."
