News reaching the Siya crew is that former Moroka Swallows midfielder Joseph Makhanya has stopped training at Mpumalanga Black Aces and has left AmaZayoni.
The former Birds winger had been training with AmaZayoni in the hope of impressing coach Clive Barker and his technical team, although indications are that he was not offered a contract with the club.
A source within the Aces camp confirmed to the crew that Makhanya is no longer training with the club.
Meanwhile, Aces have confirmed that Croatian goalkeeper Pavao Vugdelija has started training with the club.
Vugdelija joins the likes of former Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Calvin Marlin and former Wits keeper Energy Murambandoro, who are all trying hard to impress the Aces goalkeeping department.
