Bafana Bafana’s Lehlohonolo Majoro was injured in the team's 2-0 win over Angola on Wednesday, however the striker was able to do some gym work on Thursday and walked with ease.
He told the Siya crew that the team doctors have indicated that he will be out for about four to six days. He said that even though he feels good, he will miss the game against Morocco at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Sunday, although is confident that he will be cleared for the quarterfinals.
He said that it will depend on the coach and the doctors, however he is ready to represent his country and help them win.
"I think I will play in the quarterfinals. Even if I don't play on Sunday, but I will be ready within three days. I have to follow the doctors’ instructions and I will be fit soon. I am saying I will play in the quarterfinals because I know we are winning against Morocco.
“Everyone in the team is motivated after the win and we just want to keep on winning. I promise I will recover very soon," the Kaizer Chiefs striker concluded.
