Lehlohonolo Majoro resumed training with Kaizer Chiefs today after recovering from his foot infection.
The 27-year-old missed out on a place in the Amakhosi squad for the recent 3-0 win over Polokwane City in the Telkom Knockout but it was reported yesterday that he was expected to be back for the quarterfinal against Free State Stars.

Now, as expected, Majoro is back at training with the rest of his teammates having undergone light training yesterday, and he should be available for selection for this weekend’s Macufe Cup game against Bloemontein Celtic.
Majoro has been used sparingly by Stuart Baxter this season, with the head coach often opting to play Knowledge Musona or Kingston Nkhatha up front for the Amakhosi.
Now, with Bernard Parker away on international duty, Majoro could be given a chance to stake his claim for a starting place in Baxter’s side when they take on Celtic at Free State Stadium on Saturday.
Meanwhile, new signing, Ivan Bukenya, is also expected to pull on a Chiefs jersey this weekend and make his non-competitive debut for the club.
Should Majoro be given a starting berth in the Macufe Cup?
