Bright Takes Charge Of Sivutsa

Sivutsa Stars have announced that Major David Bright, who previously coached Santos, will be the man leading the team as the club's new coach.
The legendary former Bush Bucks striker, Mlungisi ‘Professor’ Ngubane, has been appointed as their new technical advisor but that head coach, Duncan Lechesa, will not be moving to Durban with the team.
Despite the club’s GM, Richard Makhoba, initially telling Soccer Laduma that Lechesa was likely to sign a new contract at the NFD outfit, that move appears to have hit a brickwall as his post has now been taken by former Santos mentor, Major David Bright.
In fact, the ex-Polokwane City mentor was spotted during player trials at Free State Stars, where he played over 100 games, and just laughed when asked about his situation, telling the Siya crew: “I’ll let you know what’s happening with Ea Lla Koto, he stated. I don’t want to sign a contract with Sivutsa.”
Makhoba has since confirmed Bright as the man to take the club forward together with the names of his two assistants.
“It’s important to note that we have Major David Bright as our new head coach,” he said. “David Notoane is assistant number one and Jomo Ntuli assistant number two.”
On the playing front, it appears as though the vast majority of Sivutsa players are unlikely to also make the move from Nelspruit to KZN.
“We only have four contracted players, but would like to extend an invitation to all the others for trials this weekend,” Makhoba concluded.
