Goodman Musa Magagula has revealed to the Siya crew that he is still hoping to make a comeback to professional football after a long absence from the game.
The defender, who played for Free State Stars under the name Goodman Teboho Sauhatsi, was suspended by the PSL’s disciplinary committee last year after it was discovered that his real name is Goodman Musa Magagula, according to information obtained from the Department of Home Affairs.
“I am at home at moment. I am doing nothing. It ( the suspension) is over. I am planning what to do next. I haven’t retired. I will be back as soon as I’m done. My clearance is still with Stars. I am still going to sort that issue with them,” said Magagula.
The PSL’s DC suspended the player after he pleaded guilty to using a fraudulent identity document when he was registered with the league.
He was fined R50 000 for his actions and suspended for 12 months. The Standerton-born player has also played for the University of Pretoria during his career.
