Letladi Madubanya has agreed terms with Wits to play for the side in the second half of the 2013/14 season.
It was revealed by Soccer-Laduma yesterday (Monday) that Madubanya was at the Braamfontein side with a hope to impress Gavin Hunt at training.
News reaching the Siya crew is that the central midfielder is set to turn out for Hunt’s side after agreeing terms with Wits.
Madubanya spent the first half of the season at AmaZulu, having joined the KZN side from Bloemfontein Celtic this season.
The Alexandra-born player confirmed to the Siya crew that his move to Wits is as good as done.
“Everything is all sorted now. It's just a matter of finalising paperwork and stuff like that and everything will be alright. I think it's going to be three years," said Madubanya.
The Students want to have a strong midfield with the likes of Sibusiso Vilakazi, Matthew Pattison and Tinashe Nengomasha already playing for the side.
Wits have also signed Sthembiso Ngcobo from Kaizer Chiefs. The striker was with Madubanya at AmaZulu earlier this season, during his loan stint with Usuthu.
