AmaZulu midfielder Kulegani Madondo is happy with the way the new players have adapted to the team’s style of play this season.
Usuthu have had an impressive start to the season, following wins against Orlando Pirates, Ajax Cape Town and Moroka Swallows in their opening five games of the campaign.
“The new guys understand how we play as a team. The coach (Craig Rosslee) is helping them to adjust to the system we play at AmaZulu. We made a lot of good new signings this season. The guys are good and I think they will help us throughout the season,” said Madondo.
AmaZulu’s impressive form resulted in the team’s left-back, Marc van Heerden, receiving the recognition of the national team head coach, Gordon Igesund, with call-ups to the Bafana Bafana side.
