AmaZulu defender, Bonginkosi Macala, has revealed to the Siya crew that he is enjoying himself at the KZN side, despite his lack of game time so far in the 2013/14 season.
Macala joined Usuthu at the end of last season, following a successful trial with the side under the watchful eye of Craig Rosslee and his technical team.
However, the former Santos player has made just one appearance for the team this season although his priority was to get game time to resurrect his career when he joined the side.
Macala has rubbished media reports that he is not on good terms with Rosslee.
“It’s all rubbish. I heard that and it’s all rubbish. I don’t know who’s coming up with all these stories because I’m on good terms with the coach. There’s no such thing. I enjoy training and I enjoy myself in Durban,” said Macala.
Macala spent the 2012/13 season without a club, having parted ways with Santos at the end of the 2011/12 campaign.
The Kroonstad-born player is linked with exit from AmaZulu. Another player expected to leave AmaZulu in the not so distant future is Letladi Madubanya as was revealed in issue 848 of Soccer-Laduma.
