Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Tiyani Mabunda is waiting for the opportunity to make his official debut in the Brazilians’ colours this season.
The former Black Leopards player has fully recovered from injury that has kept him on the sidelines, which delayed his progress at Downs after joining the club during the off-season.
“I am coming alright. The technical team and the medical team will tell me when I am ready. But I have started training. I am fine and only time will tell,” said Mabunda.

Sundowns coach, Pitso Mosimane, will be pleased with the news that his players who were struggling with injuries are returning to full fitness.
Mosimane welcomed Lebohang Mokoena back to the team in their 1-1 draw against Platinum Stars, after a long layoff due to injury.
Esrom Nyandoro and Punch Masenamela are some of the players that will be working on their fitness levels in the next few weeks for a chance to be included in Mosimane’s line-up.
