AmaZulu will be without two of their key players in Mbulelo Mabizela and Bornwell Mwape, when they take to the pitch against Mamelodi Sundowns at the Moses Mabhida Stadium tonight, owing to suspension.
Mabizela will be out for his second and last game, since picking up a red card against Bloemfontein Celtic last week.
Mwape is serving a one-match suspension after picking up his fourth yellow card of the 2014/15 season, during the Nedbank Cup last 32 game against Golden Arrows last Friday.
Usuthu have been without Tshepo Liphoko in recent games because of an injury. The KZN side host the on-form Sundowns side in a league game that could add to their misery at the bottom of the log.
AmaZulu lost 2-0 in the first round game between the two sides in Tshwane in August. Sundowns emerged as 2-1 winners in their Telkom Knockout game in October.
Amabesh'ankone, who have been struggling against Sundowns in recent years, lost 7-1 and 2-0 respectively in the two league games between the two sides last season.
AmaZulu have Khulekani Madondo, Marc van Heerden, Sadate Ouro Akoriko and Sifiso Hlanti all on three yellow cards. Steve Barker’s side is still in search of their second league win of the season.
AmaZulu are at the bottom of the Absa Premiership log with nine points out of a possible 54.
