Midfielder, Luyolo Nomandela, is expected to conclude his move from Mamelodi Sundowns to Jomo Cosmos in the near future.
The 25-year-old was identified as one of Cosmos’ transfer targets ahead of the current campaign and has been training with the Tembisa-based outfit for some time now.
Nomandela’s switch from Sundowns was meant to take place in the recent transfer window, however the deal failed to be finalised as Ezenkosi reportedly failed to submit the required documents on time.
The Siya crew subsequently reported that Cosmos boss, Jomo Sono, is understood to have filed a complaint with the PSL in order to have Nomandela’s move finalised before the January transfer window.
Sono believes that the winger should be registered and is hopeful that he will turn out for his team this season, as he has been impressed with the player's work rate and thinks he can help turn the club's fortunes around.
Siya sources have confirmed that Nomandela’s switch is close to being confirmed and that Cosmos will be looking to register the player in the coming weeks.
Do you think that Nomandela can help turn Cosmos’ fortunes around? Do you think Sono can avoid the drop this season?
