Moroka Swallows’ new loan signing, Luyolo Nomandela, began training with the Dube Birds today after completing his move from Mamelodi Sundowns.
It was always expected that the 25-year-old would make a move away from Chloorkop at some point in this transfer window after he handed in a loan request, and it has now been confirmed that he has been granted his wish.
Leon Prins, Swallows’ CEO, has explained that the winger has already met up with his new teammates, and that he is looking good in training so far.
The Siya crew has been informed that Sundowns do plan on keeping the player in the long-term, hence their decision not to give Swallows the option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
Nomandela, who was previously linked with a move to AmaZulu, has played 28 minutes of football this season, featuring in two games since his move from Free State Stars at the beginning of the campaign.
