Swallows Duo On the Mend

Moroka Swallows defenders, Luvhengo Mungomeni and Levy Mokgothu, could play in next week’s Soweto derby against Orlando Pirates.

The defensive duo picked up minor injuries in the match against Golden Arrows, but according to sources at Swallows, they are likely to return to training on Monday.

Swallows finally registered their first win in 2014 when they beat Arrows 1-0 at Dobsonville Stadium on Tuesday night with Vuyisile Wana scoring the winner for the Dube Birds.

The Birds are not in action this weekend as they are scheduled to play SuperSport United in the Nedbank Cup, but due to Matsatsantsa a Pitori’s CAF commitment, the match will only take place on Wednesday.
