South Africa U20 striker, Luther Singh, believes that his team can beat Uruguay in their last group match of the FIFA U20 World Cup in South Korea.
Amajita is scheduled to play Uruguay at Incheon Stadium on Saturday and Thabo Senong and the team go to the game still searching for their first win of the tournament.
“There are many things that we have picked up about them (Uruguay) and we will work on them at training with the coach. I think they open up a lot at the back, they are not that organized as they are known for being defensive. With them opening up a lot of spaces, it will suit us very well with the type of players that we have and we will use those spaces to kill them,’’ said Singh as quoted by Limar Media.
The Sporting Braga FC player has lauded the team spirit in the Amajita camp, despite their struggles with getting the results.
“All of us are like brothers now, some of us have been together since COSAFA, the AFCON and now it's the World Cup. So, we know each other’s strengths and weaknesses and that has been key to us in this camp. We take or give advice to one another, which makes things easier and that sort of brotherhood brings the best out of us,” concluded Singh.
