Lucky Khune has been commended for his contribution at Baberwa FC despite not yet scoring for the team.
Khune is reviving his career with the Gauteng-based ABC Motsepe League outfit.
The former Kaizer Chiefs striker has the likes of Mthokozi Yende and Kagiso Senamela, among other former PSL players at the third tier club.
Following Baberwa’s 3-0 win over Leruma United from the opening weekend’s fixtures in the Gauteng ABC Motsepe League, the club has singled out Khune as one of the players who were instrumental in the team's victory.
“He may not have found the back of the net yet but Lucky Khune has been very influential in our attack,” Baberwa stated on the club’s official Twitter account.
Meanwhile, the club has confirmed that Yende is expected to do light training today after injuring his ankle during Saturday's match against Leruma United.
