Luc Eymael has found a new club after parting ways with Free State Stars during the FIFA international break.
After missing out on the Black Leopards coaching job, which he was linked with before the Limpopo outfit decided on appointing Dylan Kerr as their new head coach, Eymael left South Africa to assess his other options outside of the PSL, as reported by the Siya crew.
The Belgian tactician, who led Ea Lla Koto to sixth place on the log at the end of last season and also won them the Nedbank Cup – a feat which came with the qualification for the CAF Confederation Cup, has confirmed to the Siya crew that he has joined a new club in the Egyptian Premier League.
“I have moved to Egypt to El Geish Football Club. The team is seventh on the table with one game in hand. We have signed a small contract of six months,” confirmed the Belgian coach.
Eymael hasn’t ruled out a possibility of a return to Mzansi to coach one of the big clubs in the PSL after he was previously linked with Kaizer Chiefs last season.
