The Belgian coach has been a subject of much speculation with the reports linking him with a move to either Kaizer Chiefs or SuperSport United, who are both currently without head coaches.

However, in confirming the team’s return for their pre-season training, Stars have confirmed that Eymael is back with the club.

“Nedbank Cup champions Free State Stars have returned for pre-season ahead of the 2018/19 Premiership season. Coach Luc Eymael, his staff and the players were in good spirits after returning from their end of season break,” Ea Lla Koto confirmed on the club’s official website.

As reported by the Siya crew, Stars have signed Eleazar Rodgers to add him to the likes of Ricardo Ndiki and Tshepo Tema who have been signed from Cape Town All Stars and Polokwane City respectively.

The Bethlehem club has promised to announce player movements in due course.

@Schakos not really member it's only that stupid Mphahlele and I'm sure he regretted living Chloorkop after the trophies we collected after his departure. And for this Zimbabwean Boy they had to release many players to combine their salaries in order to afford his salary, I'm sure these people are broke that's why Mabedi is their new coach.

Phela he's not a free agent coach, he still has 12 months remaining with Stars. For cHIVs to snatch him they have to keep out a huge catch.

Luc is a good coach, i take nothing away from tht, bt at Chiefs we need, someone who does not know our players, bt who will come a play perfoming players an give them fair chance to prove their worth, i knw this might sound crazy, bt i would give Midderndop another chance with this kind of team we have.or Stoickov maybe.

Luc is absolutely a good coach bt i would rather go for an unknwn European coach, who knws nothing about our players, i hate favouritism, we need a coach who will do justice an give performing players a fair chance not a well known player for the sake of it. Pr i would rather go for Stoickov any youth orientated coach, with an offensive football brain.

Editor why haven't you published Bobby's interview where he categorically states that they have not spoken to Luc regarding Chiefs' coaching position...

Honestly!! Football is full of surprises. Last month they said Billiat is going to Belgium, today Billiat is enjoying his life in Naturena. Last week they said Tau is going to England, yesterday Tau was spotted at Naturena gates along with his agent. Eishhhh!!! Football can be cruel sometimes. Honestly!!
