Lose Or Keep: 7 Players Who Mamelodi Sundowns Will Need To Make A Decision On
Mamelodi Sundowns will soon have to decide whether seven of their players will continue on their books or whether they will be transferred.
As the Absa Premiership comes to an end, several players will be returning to their parent clubs after their loan stint comes to an end on June 30, with Sundowns expected to decide whether their returning players will continue on their books in the 2018/19 season.
Ngobeni, who is currently on loan at Free State Stars, will make his return to Sundowns after June 30, after the Chrlookop-based club exercised the added one-year option on his deal.
Zakri’s six-month loan stint with Ajax Cape Town will come to an end on June 30, however, according to sources, the Cape Town-based club is eager to hold onto the player beyond the current season, although this may depend on whether they survive in the Absa Premiership.
Zwane will also make his return to Sundowns from Ajax, with the player set to remain with the Chloorkop-based club for at least another two more seasons. It is yet to be determined whether the Urban Warriors will want to hold on to the player’s services beyond the current campaign.
Evans will return from his 18-month loan stint with Ajax, where Sundowns will need to decide on the immediate future of the player for the new season.
As previously reported by the Siya crew, SuperSport United are unlikely to hold on to the services of Ngele, with the player set to return to Masandawana at the end of his loan on June 30.
Hachi is currently on the books of Chippa United until June 30, this year, where he is also set to make a return to the Brazilians, although, with Sundowns’ exhausted foreign quota, it remains to be seen where the player will be playing his football in the new season.
Ntuli will make his move back to Sundowns on June 30, after a disappointing loan with Platinum Stars who recently got relegated to the NFD.
