Lorch: Our Plan Worked

Orlando Pirates playmaker Thembinkosi Lorch celebrated their 2-0 win over Platinum Stars by scoring the second at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Saturday.

The Buccaneers returned to winning ways in the Absa Premiership following their disappointing result at home to Polokwane City last weekend.

“We knew it was not going to be an easy game against Platinum Stars. But in the end, we had a plan and our plan worked because we got the three points,” Lorch told SuperSport after the game.

He took the time to in detail to explain how his goal, which was orchestrated by talisman Luvuyo Memela came about.

“The goal came from the training ground. I knew that Meme was going to play that ball in that angle so I positioned myself well to score. So it was practiced at training,” he said.
