John Comitis’ deal with the Morfou brothers sent shockwaves through the South African football fraternity as the club relocated to the Mother City and was renamed Cape Town City. Now, in the space of little over a month, we are seeing a similar deal go down, with Free State Stars being purchased by a consortium of investors looking to revive Moroka Swallows. Although the details of the deal are not entirely clear, we take a look at previous deals under similar circumstances that have occurred over the years.
